Sauce on the Blue has the best staff in Summit County. Our employees work hard to continuously deliver the best restaurant service, ambiance, and product. In fact, DJ Mooney won Best Bartender in the Summit Daily’s 2018 Best of Summit for his friendly, outgoing persona. Mooney’s contributions to our specialty bar menu won 3rd place for Best Cocktail and our attentive servers and support staff earned us 2nd place for Best Restaurant Service.
Tim Applegate, the general manager of Sauce on the Blue, received second place for the “Mr. Summit County” award. This goes to show that our staff doesn’t just care about delivering the best restaurant experience in Silverthorne, but they care about the community. Tim consistently goes above and beyond for every customer that walks into Sauce on the Blue. His superior general management skills and friendly demeanor have made him a staple in the Summit County community. Congratulations on placing for the “Mr. Summit County” award, Tim!
And let’s not forget about our cooks! Sauce on the Blue’s execute chef Dan Hoyle, serves up some of the most creative dishes in Colorado. From sautéed mussels to specialty raviolis, his team is always hard at work preparing delicious, Instagram worthy food for hungry customers. Their unique pasta and specialty pizzas helped Sauce on the Blue become the Best Italian Restaurant in Summit County.
